I am named after my Iya Agba, my fathers mother Mrs. Mercellina Ebunoluwa Reis. As my Egungun, my ancestor, she had guided and protected my path since birth. My life goal is to honor the legacy of my Iya Agba and all of my ancestral matriarchs, for it is written in my name.

Studio Ebunoluwa is an exploration of ancestral practice. My Yoruba ancestors are some O.G. metallurgy and metalsmith innovators. My journey to becoming a metalsmith and fabricator is fully self taught, and I am excited to be dedicated to keep learning on my own and from others as a life long journey.

All my work is handmade and hand fabricated from wire and sheet metal. Everything is made in my home studio in Mni Sota Makoce, The Land Where the Waters Reflect the Sky’s (Minneapolis, MN). This is stolen Dakota territory and I seek to honor the Dakota people and stand in solidarity the Dakota sovereignty.

All my work is made from metals produced in the USA. Please see info and care page for more info about the benefits of healing metals, stones, shells and their care.
